May 20 Played Rathcore Golf , Enfield Co. MeathPlayed Rathcore Enfield Co. Meath with the McCabes Society. All going well until the 18th hole, lost 2 balls in the water
Golf at Killeen Castle …Played a fabulous course recently. With the Ryder cup so much in the news this course is going to host the equivalent competition for women in 2011 called the Solheim cup so it was a real treat. The weather was great for a change, the course superb but the golf so so. Much easier to update and I think looks a lot better. August 10 Summer holidaysWent to Guardamar Spain for 10 days. Fantastic weather, not hard to beat the summer weather we had in Ireland. The town was really busy for the week with a local festival on. It re-enacts the invasion of the Moors to Spain and how the Christians fought them back again. Huge aount of fireworks all week. |
